Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation
You can cancel your Equilibrium Insights subscription at any time with no fees or penalties. To cancel, either:
- Go to Settings → Billing in your Equilibrium Insights dashboard and click "Manage Subscription"
- Email support@equilibriuminsights.net and we'll cancel it for you within 24 hours
After cancelling, your Pro or Premium access remains active until the end of the current billing period. At that point, your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan.
2. Refunds
First-charge guarantee
If you subscribed and decide within 48 hours of your first charge that Equilibrium Insights isn't right for you, email us at support@equilibriuminsights.net and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.
Standard cancellations
For cancellations after the 48-hour window, we do not issue refunds for the current billing period. Your access simply continues until the period ends, then stops.
Equilibrium Insights-initiated cancellations
If we terminate your account without cause (e.g., we shut down the service), you will receive a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your current billing period. If your account is terminated due to a Terms of Service violation, no refund is issued.
Service outages
We do not issue refunds for brief service outages or downtime. In the event of an extended outage (>48 hours), we will credit affected accounts at our discretion.
3. How Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout (via Stripe). Refund processing typically takes 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
4. Disputes and Chargebacks
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact us at support@equilibriuminsights.net before filing a chargeback with your bank. We resolve billing issues quickly and a chargeback will result in immediate account suspension.
